Day 20 – Prayer Focus – “Prayer for our Leaders”
Today is Inauguration Day. We focus our prayers on the peaceful transition of power in our government. We pray for our leaders and the citizens of the United States of America to live in peace with one another. We pray for peace and safety for all of the volunteers and attendees of the Inauguration Day ceremonies. We pray for God’s wisdom to rest upon the every leader in America. We pray for the souls of men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. We pray for God’s Kingdom to come and His Will be done in America! As it is in heaven let it be in the earth!
1 Timothy 2:1-4 – “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
