Day 38 – Prayer Focus – “Jesus our Healer”

Exodus 15:26 – “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

The name Jehovah means “Lord” or “The Existing One,” and is derived from the word “Havah,” which means “to exist.” Rapha is a Hebrew word meaning “to restore” or “to heal.” Therefore, the name Jehovah Rapha can be translated to mean “The Lord who heals.” This name reveals God’s aspect as a healer who heals people’s spiritual and physical needs.

Isaiah 53:5 – “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

Our prayer focus today is on Jesus our healer. He is able to heal our body, soul and spirit. We look to Jesus for the healing that we need in our own bodies, our families, our church family and friends. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus for healing from all of our diseases and the restoration of our souls! We worship Jesus our Healer!

The Holy Spirit has directed us to have a special healing service on Wednesday, February 15 from 6:30 – 8:00pm and Sunday morning February 19 beginning at 10:30am. Please pray and intercede with us as we worship Jesus our Healer!
