| Oversight
Our
oversight and accountability is Christian
International Network of Churches (CI). CI is a
group of ministries dedicated to helping the Body of
Christ fulfill our God-given destiny. It’s vision
to play a vital role in the bringing the restoration
of prophets and apostles to the Church, is based upon
Acts
3:20-21: “and that he may send the Christ,
who has been appointed for you--even Jesus. He must
remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore
everything, as he promised long ago through his holy
prophets.” This restoration of “everything”
includes the restoration of apostles and prophets to
the Church to take their place alongside evangelists,
pastors, and teachers. Together these “five-fold”
ministers will equip the believers for the work of the
ministry (Eph.
4:11-12).
Dr. Bill Hamon is the Bishop of Christian International
in Santa Rosa, FL. Leonard and Janet were ordained by
him in 1996 and were assigned to Apostle Leon Walters,
from CI Family Worship
Center in Versailles, IN as our pastor/Apostle and
regional oversight. Dr. Jim Davis has been appointed
by Bishop as the Apostle over the Network of Churches.
He and Apostle Leon make themselves available to us
and have been instrumental in helping us establish the
work of God in this territory. We were assigned in the
fall of 2005 by Bishop Hamon and Apostle Leon to give
oversight to a CI Ministers Life Group which meets every
other month at River of Life. We are committed to working
together with other ministries to advance the Kingdom
of God in this territory.
There are four major anointings that flow through Christian
International. As members of this church, you can expect
these anointings to operate in your lives.
1. Full restoration, activation, and recognition of
the Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers and Evangelists
2. Reproducing – Teaching, training, and activating
the saints for the work of the ministry
3. Family – Dr. Hamon and his entire family are
in ministry together. CI churches are strong family
churches. Thank God for it! Your family will come into
alignment. God is concerned about the family. Remember,
He made the family before He made the church!
4. Praise that silences the enemy. Bishop Hamon calls
this “warfare praise.”
“From the lips of children and infants you have
ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence
the foe and the avenger.” (Psalm
8:2)
Dr. Hamon prophesied the Saints Movement over 15 years
ago as the next great move of God. He believes in market
place ministers and that most of the ministry will take
place outside of the church by the saints. That is why
there is a strong anointing at River of Life to teach,
train, and activate the saints for the work of the ministry.
It is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of
the Living God!
