New Testament Baptisms

The foundation of the Christian faith is built on Jesus Christ and His Word to us, the Holy Bible. Using Larry Kreider's Biblical Foundation Series as our guide, we will study the biblical principles that are key to building a firm spiritual foundation in our lives. In this third book, New Testament Baptisms, we will look at another of the six foundational doctrines found in Hebrews 6:1-2, the doctrine of baptisms. We will study four baptisms, including baptism in water (a sign of cleansing and remission of sins), baptism into the body of Christ (the Holy Spirit supernaturally places us into the "body" or "the family of God"), baptism of fire (facing suffering in our lives and persevering), and the baptism in the Holy Spirit (a new dimension of the Holy Spirit's power).
